What is the St Barth Gourmet Festival?

Held every November, the St Barth Gourmet Festival has become one of the most highly anticipated culinary events in Saint Barthélemy.

For several days, leading chefs and pastry chefs join the teams of the island’s finest hotels and restaurants. These encounters give rise to original menus, creative collaborations and unique gourmet experiences designed especially for the festival.

More than simply a culinary event, the Gourmet Festival celebrates taste, creativity and the pleasure of sharing in the unique atmosphere of Saint Barth. The island’s most beautiful restaurants become the setting for inspiring encounters between the worlds of the guest chefs, seasonal ingredients and Caribbean influences.

Claire Heitzler, the Christopher’s guest chef for 2026

For the 2026 St Barth Gourmet Festival, the Christopher will welcome Claire Heitzler, one of the leading figures in contemporary French pastry.

After working alongside prestigious chefs and within renowned establishments in France and abroad, Claire Heitzler founded her own maison, Claire Heitzler & Producteurs. There, she creates thoughtful pastries guided by seasonality, the quality of each ingredient and close relationships with producers.

Her creations are defined by their elegance, precision and delicate balance between indulgence, lightness and respect for the natural flavour of each ingredient. This philosophy resonates naturally with the Christopher experience, where simplicity, authenticity and a close connection to nature are essential.

Gourmet Afternoon Teas overlooking the ocean

During the festival, Claire Heitzler will create a series of exclusive Afternoon Teas overlooking the ocean at the Christopher.

Against the spectacular backdrop of Pointe Milou, her creations will be enjoyed to the soothing rhythm of the waves and the changing Caribbean light. Each pastry will offer a glimpse into the Chef’s distinctive world, her mastery of textures and her dedication to pure, natural flavours.

Combining indulgence, freshness and delicately tangy notes, these Afternoon Teas will offer a delicious interlude in an elegant yet relaxed setting. An experience to share as a couple, with family or among friends, open both to hotel guests and visitors to Saint Barth.

An exclusive Gourmet Breakfast will also complete this collaboration between Claire Heitzler and the Christopher’s Executive Chef, Paul Bertheau.
